Promises. Week 3

If you can't keep the ones you make to yourself, then who can you really be true to?

At the end of this week I'll put up a little pic stitch of the food intake just to give an over view. But let's just say it's been good so far :)

So Monday AM I couldnt do my work out as I had people coming around to look at things, and I had to look with them and yada yada yada... but all done now so I can get back to business... which is ME :)

(This weeks activities.. will add as I go along...)

Monday 7pm
Swimming with ZibaNator ( approx 35 lengths)
Full front crawl with tumble turns ( killer) 16 Lengths.
Full front crawl with fins ( I love you fins) 10 lengths
Front crawl 6 lengths no use of legs ( no float between legs) - Triathlon Drill
Kicking legs ( no fins) hands on float 6 lenghts.. Torture

Was so finished after this...

After that, went home ,started cooking on my newly purchased George Foreman Grill.
Yes, I am officially a chef. I could start my own show BUT the only thing stopping is time. And lack of skills. But who's being picky?
After I finished  Le Chicken Fillet con Purple potato mash, grilled asparagus and mushrooms....
I had to clean up the mess.
After cleaning up the mess (Thanks for the phone company Ala) I got into my lovely bed....

Thus, it was....

Tuesday Morning Session 7AM
Warm up light jog 600m
4x100m Intervals with 100m Light jog in between (Sprint at 13k, jog at 8.5k)
Rest- 100 m walk at 7k
4x200 M Intervals with 100m Light jog in between (Sprint at 13k, jog at 8k)
Rest - 100m walk
4x400m Intervals with 100m Light jog in between (Sprint at 13k 1st 400, 12 2nd, 12 3rd, 13 4th. Jog at 7k)
Death..
I then continued with....
50 Squats continuously with light weight (15kg).
AB Exercises based on time. (1min plank, 1 min with medicine ball  (1xside, 1xfront) 1 min crunches ( 1xfront 1xside)

Productive morning.
I attacked my porridge after this.

Tuesday Evening Session 7PM
45 Min Spin
20 Min Stretch

Then home...... crashed...

Wednesday Morning Session 7am
1k run warm up
45 min Spin


Wednesday Evening Session 7pm
Weights Session with Alex 45min
Super set 1:
Front squats x 4 straight into Back Squats x8 ( 4 sets)
1st set (bar only) 20 kg, 2nd,3rd set + 2.5, 4th set +5kg
Super set 2:
Dead lifts x 8 straight into assisted extended Pull ups x5 (4 sets)
1st, 2nd Set 25kg, 3rd, 4th set 30kg

Never done weights until this year, it's tough but I does the trick.
7.45pm -8.45pm 
1 Hour Street Dance

Thursday morning session 7am
Let me just teelll you..
So, there's a spin class on Thursday mornings which is very popular due to the energy of the instructor WILL. He's brilliant. I love him. He makes me feel like i'm winning over Lance Armstrong in Tour De France ... on fire! 
So, this morning I got to the gym at 6.40.. yes 6.40! I felt slick and all thinking the gym only opens 6.30, there are 30 bikes, his class is at 7, I'm even early enough to choose fave spot...
BUT.. my friends... here's the J.LO... ALL THE FLIPPING BIKES WERE TAKEN!
I'm like.. ARE YOU KIDDING ME?? It's 6.40?! How can 30 people be here at 6.30... pas possible!
But it was, so....... I dragged my pissed off self to the treadmill... .. and here's the workout that followed.

2.5km Run - 1% Incline - 15 Minutes
Body Attack ( All over Body workout, High Energy Interval training - 45 Min

I put in heart and effort to this so felt really good after. 
Got a great workout after all! BOOM!!

Guess what... I'm resting tonight.. yay :).. well that's the plan at least...

7pm: VCore fast class 20min, CT 10 min level 10, Street Dance 1h

Thursday 28th Feb
7am : 45 min Spinning with Will
6.45pm : 45min BoxCircuits
7.30pm: 1h  BodyBalance

Friday 1st March
7am 5k run (30 min) 1.5% Incline

Saturday 2nd March


12 - 1pm :1h Street Dance

Wednesday:
1h Yoga
1h Streetdance

Thursday:
Went to see my FIRST ever live NBA game, was so much fun! The NY Knicks vs Detroit Pistons.

Friday/Sat/Sunday = Snowchaos so I stayed in all weekend :) yay.

Monday - Should have gone swimming but had to work late, will make up for it at spinning tonight.

Pain is weakness Leaving the Body.

Thursday:
7.45 - 8.30 - Box Circuits
8.30-9.30 Zumba 

Food:
Breakfast - Green tea and crackers
Lunch- 250g mince meat with vegetables, 3 baby potatoes,
Snack - 1 banana , 1 clementine
Post workout - 1 Protein bar, 2 eggs, 2 crackers

Drinks: Water, Green tea, 1 glass of juice


Well pffffff... what can I say...If we're going by the subject line then booooiiii... my weakness is definitely on its way out ..... The welps and cat sounds coming out of me everytime I have to sit down or stand up is actually even surprising myself...
But I gotta say, I'm doing it with a smile, slightly enjoying this...this....torture in lack of better words lol.

This is what I needed to be reminded of.
Its WAR.

1st week almost over... I'm leading so far.....

Tonight just doin a 5k light run..

Tomorrow is the big Bootcamp Saturday. Im ready.

There are only two options regarding commitment. You’re either IN or you're OUT.

Wobbledy wobbledy wob wobble wobble...

That was me at the gym yesterday...bwahahaha

But hey, slowly but surely.....
Tbh, despite doing all those races and events last year I feel that a part of still wasn't committing.

This year I will focus on lean food. I need to see a physical change.
I have the mindset, I just need to control the food intake.

If I'm brave enough I'll post before and afters. Or Scrap that, I'll just post afters hahaha..
Ok note to self : that isn't funny until you're actually in the 'after' period. Note over.

Tuesday:
7.15pm - 1h Spin class ( First cardio of the year, felt it)

Food: 
Don't remember that well (will improve) but I had small portion of branflakes, sushi 8 pcs, and some mince meat and post workout salad at home and 2 tortilla wraps
Drinks: Only water, green tea, 1 glass of grapefruit juice
I'd say 5/10

Wednesday:

7pm - Weights. 6 reps squats starting from 20 kg up to 35.
Deadlifts, Stepups , Ab exercises, Shoulder, Hanging, Pressups, Plank. With various weights.
First strength session of the year. DEFINITELY felt that.

Food:
Small portion of Branflakes, chicken breast and various vegetables with bulgur, oat bar and post workout 1 pitta with smoked salmon and 1 avocado
Drinks: Water, green tea and 1 glass of tropical juice

2 days of training... and walking up the escalators today RUINED ME.

But guess what...

I FOUND MY MOTIVATION BABY!!!!!! .... January blues ain't bloooozeing me...

1 step at a time. literally.

New year, New Beginnings

Hi Blog,

I know , I know, I know... I'm not gonna do the whole... @ aah, ive been away for so long, time to start again thing'..

2013 has arrived! We flip a new page, new chapter.. hell, lets just throw away the old book and get a new one! DONE ! Boom!

New book   - Hello!

I'm in lethargic mode at the moment unfortunately, but I have two rocks inside me trying to hit each other so they can ignite that little spark, that fire that'll get that motivation up and running again..
I'm kinda still buzzing off of everything I did in 2012 , so many trips and so many accomplishments...
Proud year - this year won't be any less.
One step at a time.

I have 2 challenges today - Spinning and Pilates.

Uuurgghh... it's like I get heavy just typing that... I know so bad.

I'll find motivation, It's there somewhere...

In the meantime - my weekend was lovely, got to spend some quality time with friends, eat, dance, sing, do some major declutterification and also make new friends.

What more can you ask for..... oh yea, motivation for gym lol.. COME TO MEEE PLEEEEAAASEEE!!!!! Frustratedddddddd... That's what I am, I will go, but i'm annoyed at myself as to why I'm not feeling excited about it yet?
Is this what lazy is? IS IT?!?!!?
Omg. It's not. Watch me.. WAAATCH ME!
